How do We Manufacture your Sintered Nickel Filter?
Raw Material
BLUE always insist on choosing a uniform powder of raw material to produce each of your sintered filters with great pore size, high tensile strength, and temperature stability.
Isostatic Pressing
Sintered nickel filter cartridges are formed by isostatic pressing, where metal powders in a flexible mold are compacted evenly under high-pressure fluid for uniform density.
Vacuum Sintering
BLUE strictly controls the parameters of the high sintering process of sintered filters to give them good mechanical properties by applying heat and pressure.
CNC Machining
We use high precision machining to manufacture the fitting of sintered filter cartridges, including internal and external threads, imperial and metric threads.
Welding
We use laser welding to join the filter body and threaded fittings together, ensuring a secure, durable, and leak-proof connection suitable for high-pressure and high-temperature applications.
Size Inspecting
BLUE inspects all the sizes of the sintered filter by applying a pressure gauge and high-efficiency size monitoring pieces of equipment.
Porosity Testing
We perform a filtration test to check the sintered filter’s strength, shape, porosity, distribution rate, permeability, flow control, and filtration rate.
Filter Packaging
BLUE pack all sintered filter products and accessories following international standard safety procedures to meet the criteria.
FAQ
Sintered nickel is a high-performance filter made of nickel or nickel alloy powder.
These metal powders are pressed into sheets or tubes, and then sintered at high temperatures to form a porous and uniform structure.
Sintered nickel filters have excellent corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, and good compressive strength.
Heating: Place the nickel filter in a nitrogen-protected boiler, heat to 380°C, and boil for 2 hours to loosen contaminants.
Ultrasonic Cleaning: Transfer the sintered nickel filter to an ultrasonic machine and clean for 30 minutes to remove debris.
Backwashing: Flush the porous nickel filter with liquid under pressure in the reverse direction to clear pores. If dirt persists, soak the filter in cleaning fluid longer.
